Hello there,
I am so glad you decided to visit our page! Alpha Kappa Psi is the oldest and largest business fraternity in the world, with over 250,000 current, living members, and over 263 active chapters. We guide everything we do according to our core values of brotherhood, knowledge, integrity, service, and unity, with the mission of developing “principled business leaders.” Despite this mission, being a business major is not a prerequisite for joining Alpha Kappa Psi and, in fact, we encourage diversity of study and ideas. Regardless of your background and your overall career goals, AKPsi can help you develop into a more confident presenter, stronger leader, and position you to succeed in all aspects of life while providing you unforgettable memories and a network of incredible, lifelong friends.

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Requirements include a 3.0 GPA and you cannot be a first semester freshman.

  • No, you do not have to be a business major. Alpha Kappa Psi is major inclusive.

  • Any SJU student can join except for first semester freshman.

  • Info Sessions: Hear more about our organization from executive board members and introduce yourself to some current brothers.

    Professional Workshop: Receive tips from current brothers about resumes, cover letters, and interviews.

    Philanthropy Night: Learn more about our philanthropy, Ryan’s Case For Smiles, and chat with current brothers as you make pillow cases and coping box’s.

    Alumni Mocktail: Ask our alumni some questions and hear about their professional experience, then spend time mingling with the alumni and current brothers.

    Game Night: Have some fun playing a game with our current brothers!

  • Email the AKPsi email (sjuakpsi@gmail.com) as soon as you know you will not be able to attend an event.

  • After recruitment week you will be invited for an interview. Based on your interview, you will hear back from us about receiving a bid within the following days.

  • Yes! If you do not receive a bid, we encourage you to try again another semester.
